Play Event in TAS

Posted 5/21/2018

We would like to say a massive thank you to our lovely parents who came yesterday for our messy play event. There was a lot of mess but lots of fun too! A delicious picnic followed this lovely event, thank you to our 5* chef.

Do you know that coloured ice can float?

For science we learn about floating and sinking, freezing and melting implementing changes over time. (Understanding of The World - EYFS). Our children are looking forward to the next science experiment, I wonder what it is going to be!?! Can you suggest us something?

TAS family showed once again good manners and care for the people in the community by attending a fantastic play afternoon date with the residents at the local care home. Together we painted a fantastic canvas focusing on many areas of learning in the EYFS. Our focus was emotions, understanding peoples

feelings, working together as a team and using colours for a purpose. Please have a look in the foyer, "Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up". Pablo
Picasso.

What an exciting experience we had here at TAS. One of our parents noticed we were learning about transport on land and asked if the children would like to have a go on his motorbike. We all felt like motorbike drivers and had an amazing adventure sitting on the motorbike. Keep an eye out for your child's scrap book next week.
